AP Interior Architecture - Design Process - How We Work
To ensure we deliver exactly what you want, consultation and an organised way of working are key. The design process works as follows:
Preparation
- Identifying client's needs and objectives and discussing how the client wants to work.
- Drawing up a design brief, confirming key requirements and identifying tradespeople that will be needed for the work.
Concept
- Preparing concept design, including outline proposals, outline specifications and a preliminary cost plan.
Preliminary Designs
- Developing concept with computer and hand-drawn sketches.
Visualisation
- Based on 3D visualisations, making more detailed decisions about materials, specifications and budget.
Technication Documentation
- Finalising details, in terms of materials, furnishings and plans.
- Preparing final proposals, specifications and costings sufficient to co-ordinate the project and gain statutory standards and approvals.
